バリ島のお面ランダ Field Randa of Bali Island

　バリ島の雑貨屋でよく見かけるのが「聖獣バロン」と「魔女ランダ」が戦うバロンダンスで有名な「聖獣バロン」と「魔女ランダ」のお面です。バリ島では「善」と「悪」は表裏一体であり、バロンダンスのストーリーも、結局最後に誰が勝つかというのではなく、この世界には善と悪が存在するということだけを表現しているそうです。このランダは、生活に密着した神様でもありバリ島のどの村でも、ランダの面が大切にされています。他にもレゴンダンスやケチャ、ヒンズー教の神様などが題材になっている木彫りが多いです。

There is much wood carving with which a REGON dance, God of a kecak and Hinduism, etc. are otherwise a subject matter.
